Avoiding the ultimate high.

As a package deal, every high comes with an equal and opposite low.

It’s a fact of nature that on the other side of the peak is a valley. There is nowhere to go that’s higher than the top. After that the only way is down.

It’s ok to experience small highs, medium highs and even big highs – because they come with less formidable lows than the one that comes with the ultimate high.

Ah, but I could stay there. I could get to the summit and stay there.

But the universe is in constant motion. There is no such thing as ‘stay.’
We’re always moving.

So what to do?

Find a path that will take you on a constant upward movement. Identify the ultimate high and put off arriving there for as long as possible.

Yes, that sounds like a plan.
